چکیده
The triggering threshold is one of the most important parameters for landslide early warning systems (EWSs) at slope scale. In present work, a velocity recommended an system Gapa in Southwest China, which was reactivated by impoundment large reservoir behind Jinping’s first dam. Based on GNSS monitoring data over last five years, defined novel method, implemented forward and reverse double moving average time series. As deformation strongly related to fluctuations water levels, crucial level also reduce false warnings from alone. recognition importance geological evolution, evolution process topping sliding described this study help understand its behavior predict potential trends. Moreover, based improved Saito’s three-stage model, set as “attention level”, because current stage considered be between initial constant stages. At present, mainly consists six surface displacement sites observation site. If daily recorded each site exceeds 4 mm/d and, meanwhile, below 1820 m above sea (asl), likely accelerations will released relevant sites. thresholds are always discretely exceeded about 3% annual days, they frequently June (especially mid-June). provide efficient effective way judging verified application. work presented provides critical insights into development reservoir-induced large-scale landslides.

Web3DGIS-Based System for Reservoir Landslide Monitoring and Early Warning
Landslides are the most frequent type of natural disaster, and they bring about large-scale damage and are a threat to human lives and infrastructure; therefore, the ability to conduct real-time monitoring and early warning is important. In this study, a Web3DGIS (Web3D geographic information systems) system for monitoring and forecasting landslides was developed using the Danjiangkou Reservoir...
متن کاملSea Level Monitoring Using a Gnss-based Tide Gauge
A continuous monitoring of sea level changes is important for human society since more than 50% of the world’s population live within 60 km of the coast. Sea level is traditionally observed with tide gauges that give measurements relative to the Earth’s crust. To improve the understanding of sea level changes it is necessary to perform measurements with respect to the Earth’s center of gravity....
متن کاملA Gnss-based Tide Gauge for Local Sea Level Monitoring
It is important for human society to continuously monitor the sea level, since more than 50% of the world’s population live within 60 km of the coast [1]. Moreover, global climate change is believed to result in the melting of large masses of ice in Polar Regions. This will bring freshwater into the ocean [2] and thus change the sea level [3]. The traditional way to observe sea level is with ti...
متن کاملSignal-Level Integrity Monitoring Metric for Robust GNSS receivers
This paper deals with the problem of detecting distortions on the received signals of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) that may degrade the measurements accuracy and compromise the overall receiver operation. Amongst others, multipath and spoofing are two of the most concerning threats for the robustness of GNSS receivers. These two phenomena have similar effects on the received signa...
متن کاملRegional landslide susceptibility: spatiotemporal variations under dynamic soil moisture conditions
Quantification of landslide susceptibility variability in space and time in response to static and dynamic conditions is a fundamental research challenge. Here, we identify and apply new modeling and remote sensing observation techniques to statistically characterize susceptibility distributions under dynamic moisture conditions. The methods are applied at two study regions: Cleveland Corral, C...
